Extended Panoramas photos by mikewalen

Here's a collection of some of my panoramic images that were taken with my old Olympus C2500 2.5Mp digital camera that I used to have. I had it with me when I was on my OE in Europe in 2000-2002 so it got knocked around a bit! Sadly, these images are too small for KeyImagery's stock photography requirements but I still think they're pretty good! All of these images are made up of several individual shots taken in sequence, then merged together in Photoshop (i.e. not using any stitching software). Would love to hear any compliments or criticisms.

Thats my boat in the middle ;)
On the ferry back to Italy.
From the lakeside, looking towards the town centre.
From further around the lake towards Glenorchy.
Taken from the lookout at the top of the gondola ride.
Good wine, great weather, what a day that was!
Taken just past the town centre down by the river.
Taken from the Parthenon.
A little bit of lens flare there ;)
View from the top of the Te Mata Peak lookout. Thank god you can easily drive up there by car!
Entrance to the Homer Tunnel, looking through the basin/valley on the Te Anau side.
Awesome golden sand there.
Not really cropped symetrically this one!
Such a prety country!

Sadly I was disappointed I couldn't click on the first image then go to the next image without going back to the whole album again. I think you have some wonderful images here but it will take to long to view them all at the enlarged size. Jocelyn

Great idea jaznz, we're working on some 'previous' and 'next' buttons to go backwards and forwards between the images :)

Panoramas certainly make a very impressive presentation these are wonderful images. I found I could progress thru them all inthe enlarged view using the arrows.

Thanks bimboy. I've always like the cinematic widescreen look with my photography. I've never really been happy with the automatic stitching programmes around, and manually doing it by hand in Photoshop can be time consuming so I haven't done any for a while now. I hope to get some more up from Xmas and New Years this year.

A good way to build the pixel count too when one has a low count camera!
