Stock of the Week 36 2010

mikewalen's shot, which is part of a large series of images, has achieved 'Stock of the Week' this week for week 36 of 2010. The image titled Vintage Aspect of Queenstown, New Zealand has appealed to us for its creative use of a sepia style filter which suits the subject well. The range of tones in the shot and the composition of the boat within the frame have yeilded an appealing photo. mikewalen used a Canon PowerShot G9 at a focal length of 44mm with a f/8 aperture and 1/40sec exposure for this shot.
